Description
- Quinacridone Violet is an ideal replacement for Crimson Alizarin. It is far more reliable, brighter and makes cleaner violets in mixes. A strong, bright, red-violet with many admirable qualities.
- Transparent, it gives very clear washes. It brushes well and has a useful range of values. An excellent red-violet. Non-metallic preservatives.
- Made up as either an oil paint, a gouache or an acrylic, it rated ASTM 1, absolutely light fast. Without the protection of the binder it rated ASTM 11 as a watercolour. This is still an excellent rating.
